Myocardial Infarction

Myocardial Infarction Myocardial infarction is also called as “Heart Attack”. It occurs when the blood supply to heart muscle is abruptly stopped causing tissue damage. Blood supply is stopped due to many reasons and one of them is deposition of fat, cholesterol etc. Risk factors includes high cholesterol, obesity, smoking, age, and family history. MI causes tightness in chest, shortness of breath.
